The dataset, reconciled

The yearly files are free at OSHA. What is sold is the work of joining them.

What is added to OSHA's files

• Ten years joined per establishment. OSHA's own identifier changes between eras of the collection; 1,067,782 establishments are reconciled from 3,184,341 kept annual summaries.
• Amended filings resolved — one summary per establishment and year, the latest.
• Rates computed and checked — TRIR and DART, blank when hours are inconsistent.
• Industry medians — by 4-digit NAICS and year, from the filers themselves.
• EIN as the join key — present for 2019 onwards on 82–89 % of filings.

Delivered as CSV or Parquet, with a data dictionary. Ask on the Pro page.

Not a consumer reporting agency. This site and the datasets sold from it are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and must not be used to decide anyone's eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. If you need a background check, use a screening company that operates as a consumer reporting agency.
